Upside Pizza is the brainchild of founder Noam Grossman (previously of Dig Inn and B. GOOD) and culinary collaborator Anthony Falco (international pizza consultant) – the brand is inspired by growing up in NYC in the ‘90s, when nothing mattered more than sports, hip hop and great pizza.
The slice joint serves signature pies crafted to order in a classic and inimitable Montague Hearth Bake brick oven – rarely used in New York pizzerias – topped with responsibly-sourced produce and house-made ingredients from fresh mozzarella, sausage and house-pickled peppers to spice blends, breadcrumbs and two variations of sauce: one for Sicilian pies and another for regular round pies. Upside Pizza’s dough is a labor of love, perfected with a special water filtration system, unparalleled ingredients and a proprietary method to deliver the ideal crust and crumb.
